About Longquan SwordMaster Peiyan Zhao

Zhao Peiyan, a master bladesmith from Zhejiang Province, China, was born in 1968 in Longquan. He developed an interest in Longquan swords at a young age and started his apprenticeship in 1983. Zhao has spent 30 years studying and perfecting the traditional art of sword forging, and his work is highly distinctive and closely adheres to tradition. As a result, his swords are very popular among collectors and martial arts enthusiasts.
