At Moonswords, we want to be fully transparent about international shipments and customs. Depending on your location and the value of your order, your shipment may go through customs. Below is important information you should know before placing an order.
Customs Charges

Orders under $800 USD will generally not incur customs charges.

Orders over $800 USD may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or fees, depending on your country’s regulations.
Important: Customs charges are beyond our control, and we cannot prepay or include them in invoices. Not all orders are subject to these fees, and it would be unfair to charge all customers upfront.
Your Responsibilities as the Buyer
By placing an order, you agree that you are solely responsible for:

All customs-related fees — including duties, taxes, or other charges applied by your country’s customs authorities (this includes shipments to the USA).

Legal compliance — ensuring that the items we ship are legal and allowed in your country. Shipping restricted or prohibited items is at your own risk.

Lost, confiscated, or delayed shipments — Moonswords cannot issue refunds or be held liable for items lost, stolen, or withheld by customs.
We cannot under-declare the value of your order on customs forms, as this is illegal. Our goal is to do everything legally and transparently.
What Happens If Customs Holds Your Order
If customs requires additional information or payment:

You will be guided on how to clear any applicable duties or taxes.
