Moonswords Return, Exchange & Refund Policy
At Moonswords, our goal is simple: to make our customers happy. We stand behind the quality of our swords and services and want every customer to be satisfied. We handle returns and exchanges on a case-by-case basis and will always do our best to resolve any issues quickly and fairly.
Returns for Damaged or Defective Items
If you are not completely satisfied with an item you purchased from Moonswords.com, and it is damaged in shipping or defective, you may request a return, replacement, or refund within 30 calendar days after your tracking number shows the order as "delivered." Due to the customization of Engraved Items, they may not be returned unless they are damaged, shipping, or defective.
To help us process your request, we may ask for photos or other documentation as proof so we can accurately diagnose the issue and provide a solution.
If your return is approved, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number, along with instructions to complete your return. We do not accept returns without an RMA number.

The returned item must be received within 14 days of RMA approval.

We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service to ensure your return reaches us safely.

Items returned after the 14-day window may be subject to a 30% restocking fee.
Condition of Returned Items
All returned items must be:

Unused and in new condition

Returned with all original packaging, accessories, manuals, and documentation
Items returned in poor condition may incur a 30% restocking fee.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get the item you want is to return your current item and, once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the new item.
Shipping Fees

If the return is due to a manufacturing defect or our error, Moonswords will cover all return shipping costs.

If the return is not due to our error, the buyer is responsible for return shipping.

Shipping fees for the original order are non-refundable ($60 USD).
Order Cancellations

Orders can be canceled within 8 hours of placement.

If the order has already been processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled, but you may return it to our US warehouse once received.

Orders not yet processed can be canceled at your request.
Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if your refund is approved or denied.

If approved, refunds will be automatically processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you have not received your refund, contact us at info@moonswords.com.
Your Responsibilities as the Buyer
By placing an order, you agree that you are responsible for:

All customs-related fees — duties, taxes, or other charges applied by your country’s customs authorities.

Legal compliance — ensuring the items we ship are legal in your country.

Lost, confiscated, or delayed shipments — Moonswords is not liable for items lost, stolen, or held by customs.
We cannot under-declare the value of your order on customs forms, as this is illegal.
Questions or Issues
If you notice any issue with the quality or craftsmanship of a Moonswords product, please contact us immediately. Products that have been abused or misused are not eligible under this policy.
